"Afternoon Tea in the Jungle with..."

This is the most recent book of poetry by Annie Lloyd-Hyde I have been asked to illustrate, and I absolutely love how this turned out. These poems were written in response to the current global climate crisis, and the experience of the Covid-19 Pandemic, and is accompanied by a single line of drawings flowing through the book from the beginning to end.

These illustrations were drawn by hand and digitally edited.

This finished book is probably the product I am most proud to have been a part of, especially as David Attenborough himself has expressed appreciation of the work, and profits from sales are being donated to the World Wildlife Fund who work "to conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth."

"A Final Fling Before I Fall Apart"

The second book in the collection by Annie Lloyd-Hyde which I had the privilege to illustrate. These Illustrations were made in much the same way as the first book, using various mediums to create different effects relating to the feel of the poem they belong to. I also began to digitally edit some of the illustrations for a cleaner and more vibrant feel.

"I Killed Him For His Wardrobe Space"

A book of poems illustrated by yours truly.
"I Killed Him" is the first book I illustrated. All the illustrations were hand drawn using many different mediums and styles, and hopefully represent aspects of the poems they are paired with. Anne has such a lovely way with words and I'm so glad she trusted me to illustrate her book. If you want to get yourself a copy, I have some available here (with an old cover which has since been changed to the one below)
